Round 1 Certification Period Extended
Thanks to the time and commitment of many developers like you, Round 1 of Samsung's Gear App Challenge received a tremendous number of submissions.
We recognize that you put a lot of effort into your submissions, and we want to make sure that every entry submitted on time to the GALAXY Apps Seller Office, (before the July 17th deadline at 5pm EDT), is properly evaluated during the Certification Period.

The Samsung Apps Seller Office has had a mini makeover! For those of you who have registered on seller.samsungapps.com previously, here's what's changed. The updates are a result of Samsung's ongoing commitment to improving its apps registration process.

Samsung Apps Seller Office has been renamed as Samsung GALAXY Apps Seller Office.
Seller types: "Developer" or "Partner"

Don't have a Gear 2 device? Samsung's Remote Test Lab enables you to test and install your applications on Samsung mobile devices over the web.
Using the RTL is the easiest and most effective way to test the compatibility of your application, and also cuts down on costs for test hardware. Interaction with the device is performed over the network in real time, allowing you to comprehensively test your application before distributing it.

One month left – start your draft
There’s just one month left in the Gear App Challenge. Beat the deadline rush by getting your submission ready early.
Starting a draft is a good way to make sure that your app meets the requirements. There’s nothing worse than getting to the deadline, only to realize that you’re missing a key component. And remember: once you begin a draft, you can save it and edit it at any time prior to the submission deadline.

A good video tells the story behind your submission, providing a clear and concise explanation of what your app is and does.
