Request to the contest organizers

Dears,

my certification failed because the tester used the old application and didn't use the new one submitted. now i got the certification failed !!. i tried to enter comments only to the certification team and resubmit the app. but they didn't allow me. and they asked me to re upload the APK. so i uploaded the same APK again. please help because there is no way i can get the certification by tomorrow

    Hi MohammedDiab,

    Thank you for your message. I’m very sorry, but I am not able to influence the Certification process or decisions around app certification or rejection. If your app has been rejected during Certification, I would encourage you fix any necessary errors and resubmit as soon as possible. Please do add notes for the testers if needed.

    As noted in the update (http://gearapp.challengepost.com/updates/1832): “Certification review may take one week or more. It is highly recommended that any bug fixes or updates be resubmitted for Certification as early as possible. Samsung does not guarantee that additional updates will be reviewed by August 7th.”

    Please know, however, that the Certification team is working very hard to review as quickly as possible.

    Hi Serena,

    My problem is different. The certification team rejected my app on 28-07 so I made the neccesary changes. For some reason I dont know they reviewed the same version again that was sent before 28-07 and ignored the new one submitted and rejected the app on 06-08 . All what I did actually is that I send to them a comment with the same app version that was supposed to be certified. They took one week to certify the old one. I dont know how is that happened l. Think the tester had an old copy on his device and didnt install the new one.

    i don't have any errors to fix. please let me briefly explain what happened to me

    1. i submitted the app before the end of 17th of july and here is a video for that version https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KYYW2kyT9a0.

    2. my app was rejected on 28th of july so i fixed the errors which happened because of the tester didn't have a google account. but i handled the errors and added a new "instructions screen" and removed the search icon on the top right of the screen

    3. i fixed the app and created another video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=81moL4aCksY . and submitted to the store on 31th of july. then i received that the app got rejected on 6th of august but when i checked the video that was sent from the certification team . i found that they tested the old copy that submitted on 17th of july again. here is the certification video https://www.dropbox.com/s/1ybekaii795rr66/2_loadin%20error.wmv. i can tell the difference because of the "instructions screen" was developed in the new copy. and i didn't find it in the video plus the screen shots in the store that the tester opened weren't the new screenshots that were submitted. plus the search icon on the top right of the screen was removed in the new app. you can find these differences from the video. so what i did is that i immediately and wrote comments to the certification team and resubmitted the same app that was rejected because they didn't even open it. and opened the old one

    i thought that the certification team will see the comments and fix the issue immediately but what happened is that they followed the same procedures again. and this will take 7 days for nothing actually.

    i really appreciate your help. i don't need any extra time or something. i'm wondering why they didn't test my new app that was submitted on 31th of july. if they did test the right one i should have been passed the certification since 6th of august. it isn't my mistake actually i did what the certification team wanted but how can i know that for the passed 7 days they were testing an old copy. i really need you help i think that is totally unfair and i will be eliminated for nothing .

    It happened to me once - that tester was checking old version of an application, and of course, the issue still occured. Platform bug :/

    Similar issue: I have my app rejected in Certification because the tester didn't follow the testing instruction. He/She created a new account on the server without adding a presentation. Testing presentation application without presentation is impossible. I had provided a test account with presentation to do proper testing however tester didn't follow. No way to explain as no communication. The same application was certified on all major app stores: Apple, Blackberry, Window, Google, Intel and failed with Samsung because tester didn't follow instructions !!!. I have resubmitted the app, hopping this time I get a better tester.
