Certification Times

Hello,

I have received today a certification failure e-mail due to a small bug. I am unable to reproduce the bug, however, since I believe it might be due to the locale (Canada/Korea) dates, I fixed it. Is there a way for my app to be evaluated before August 7? I have been waiting for certification testing twice already for 7 days, along with many other people, and I put a lot of effort into this submission. Will my submission still be considered for the competition?

    I have exactly the same case as you. So I will add myself to this request :) Beside that I had also this popular error with Invalid Binary which stopped me for several days.

    One of my final two applications was approved for sale today (the other, submitted at the same time with the same fix for the same minor error, is still "Under Device Test"). Even though I know the workday is over in Korea, I can't help but refresh the seller office every hour to check on it. If there is a list that guarantees its certification completion by August 7th, then please include me as well. :)

    Hi mcs2k8,

    Thank you for your message! I’m glad to hear that you’ve resubmitted. I’m sorry, but I am not able to influence the Certification process.

    As noted in the update (http://gearapp.challengepost.com/updates/1832): “Certification review may take one week or more. It is highly recommended that any bug fixes or updates be resubmitted for Certification as early as possible. Samsung does not guarantee that additional updates will be reviewed by August 7th.”

    Please know, however, that the Certification team is working very hard to review as quickly as possible.
