Fault in certification report

Hello, Certification team said that my application’s search option does not work.

But please see the screening report video (http://youtu.be/MIqyH5eIfMU provided by the certification team) at time 27s, when tester write something in the search bar my application search option works properly. That is my application’s search give the place suggestion properly.

It will not fair if the Samsung certification team reject my application, when it's running perfectly. Please help me with this situation.

Samsung seller office help center said I have to resubmit my application and it is the only way I can contact the certification team. But I submit this application "Samsung Gear App Challenge" and the certification deadline is 7 August. So If I resubmit my application again then the certification team will take 7 working days as a result I miss the deadline.

Why I resubmit my application again when my application is working properly in their own certification screening report ?

What I can do now ?

2. Try search any places in mother app.

Search function should works without any problems

    in my case i felt same problem. i think they are not reading app description.
    I saw your this video i felt they don't the basic testing

    I think in the end of video she try to click 'OK' and nothing happens... that's why

    For some place name you can get empty result. All time you do not get result. you see at time 27s in that video my application give the search result. That is my application search is working.

    @Serena101, @challengePost team please do something in that issue otherwise it will be totally unfair with my hardworking, where my application is running properly according to their own certification screening result video.

    @aneesh_167 you are absolutely right even help center do not give me the accurate answer why they reject my application. I think also they do not see the video properly how tester test my application. So poor certification team :(

    Please consider this issue.

    I agree with @kurak38, that the issue could be that 'OK' button is not working. Even if there is an empty result, it should show an error message, because otherwise the user cannot know whether the app is broken or it is the default behavior.

    I think it is not a proper testing feedback. They can not hard reject my application for this silly "no place found" notification. They have to test that whether my application is working or not properly. My application provide the search result.

    Ok, maximum they can give my suggestion to provide a notification but they can not hard reject. At least in the time of such a important contest.

    @Serena101, Could please contact Samsung team for this reason. otherwise I miss the contest for such a bad excuse :(

    same thing happened in my case they are doing waste testing. i don't know why this people are doing live this. The samsung is an international company but they don't have good testing time

    I had a similar problem when certifying Windows 8 Store App also for a developer contest. My app had a button which was clickable (not disabled) but without any action for some cases (just like your 'OK' button). I failed the certification for 5 times and the only reason they gave was 'This app appears to be incomplete in its functionality to our reviewers.''and that's it! It took me one week to find the issue and I was lucky to have certified just before the deadline of the contest.

    But if your truly believe that your app is completed and it should work like that, the you can resubmit adding notes to the testers. I have heard that if you do not change the binary file (if you say that your app is ok, then there is no need to), certification takes much less time.

    But at this moment I have only 2 days only for certification. If I resubmit they take at least 5 days :(
    Another problem is, I have to add a new binary file when I resubmit my application again.

    Thank you for your message. I’m very sorry, but I am not able to influence the Certification process or decisions around app certification or rejection. If your app has been rejected during Certification, I would encourage you fix any necessary errors and resubmit as soon as possible. Please do add notes for the testers if needed.

    As noted in the update (http://gearapp.challengepost.com/updates/1832): “Certification review may take one week or more. It is highly recommended that any bug fixes or updates be resubmitted for Certification as early as possible. Samsung does not guarantee that additional updates will be reviewed by August 7th.”

    Please know, however, that the Certification team is working very hard to review as quickly as possible.

    Hi, @Serena101

    we know the certification process duration but our problem is the not that testing team not testing properly or they don't know how to test this app. the testing team giving some error but that is not actual error.

    don't cry it is standard that sometimes testers done poor tests. I had a situation where tester was trying to take photo by clicking one of the icon rather then long tap on screen, and that was the reason for failing - not able to take photo. They clearly sometimes not read the description and other stuff
