Screenshot needs change -- but new binary required

My app was rejected due to a Samsung logo in a screenshot - not in the app itself, but the screenshots attached to the app description. So, an easy fix.

Unfortunately, it seems that it is REQUIRED to submit a new binary in this case - regardless that the issue is not in the app. I can create a new version of the app with same contents but :
1 - it will take longer to get the app certified
2- the registration website has some sort of issue that prevents me from updating the binary. It claims that I must select the app to be a gear app ( which I already did )

This is very frustrating - my app is working perfectly, but registration is not working.
Samsung - please fix your issues in your registration portal and make sure that apps are not lost due to these issues

    note - re-registering does NOT currently work for me ( an others, as I can tell from these forums ).

    I get an error message saying "The binary is invalid. You can register a Gear Binary after selecting the Gear platform".

    This is a showstopper - I can not update my app.
