so those apps are lucky which have rejected a week ago and have been resubmitted.

How will the organizers make sure that only certification issues are addressed in newly uploaded binaries, but no additional functionalities and features are added to the applications?
Looks like a clear way has been opened to smuggle new features, doesn't it?

I think judges will review only videos so what you have on video are your features. So no checking app by running it will be the solution or just upload to phone binaries submitted to challengepost (I am pretty sure that it should work, and bugs from certification team are sometimes ridiculous) .
To give some example why it is ok to extend it my app was rejected one time because tester did not read description nor certification comments nor watched video from my personal test so it used it wrong way (I have wrote is in other thread). Next certification process was also fail because new tester couldn't even install app. WTF? In logs I have found that it was problem with SAP and hostmanager app, so software from Samsung from Gear Manager. So how it can be, if your certification is failed due to bugs in Samsung software? Maybe update of Gear Manager, in meantime caused this failure? So this is very good reason for extending period.
