App registration platform has been changed into Galaxy app platform from Gear app due to click re-register the app from rejection message

I have already submit a Gear 2 integrated App by following all rules. but the app had a bug and at Test Confirmation stage it has been rejected due to bug in app. When I click re-register the app from rejection message and try to upload updated apk(integrated wgt) after fix the bug. but it shows an error "The binary is invalid. You can register a Gear binary after selecting the gear platform".
I discover that my app registration platform has been changed into Galaxy app platform from Gear app. I have put a support ticket for this and waiting for ans...

    still got "The binary is invalid. You can register a Gear binary after selecting the Gear platform."
    I am afraid that it has been changed permanently..

    I have the same, and now when period is extended how can I re-register? If Samsung won't repair it fast the contest should be extended even further

    I am seing the exact same behavior. I cannot submit my update.

    I am not sure about the error I got while resubmitting but I got something similar. If you delete your previously uploaded binary and upload the new binary with version change it should work.

    I have already submit a support ticket at Samsung Developer Customer Care. and they have responded and said that they have been trying to fix this bug.

    I have the same issue ... Samsung responded and said they are "Woking on it" .
    It has been over 2 weeks.

    Late comment, but I had the same issue when I had added the '' tag to my Android Manifest.

    The fix was to submit my app in the 'Gear' category rather than the mobile one.

    Hello Everyone,

    We've just sent out an update (http://gearapp.challengepost.com/updates/1899) with corrected information and instructions for dealing with the error message, "The binary is invalid. You can register a Gear binary after selecting the gear platform." It also addresses what to do if your Content ID has changed since the submission period deadline.
