Edit software button

Hi,

I can see next to my project the button "Edit software".
Why this button is active if the deadline for submissions is over ?

Can I use it to enhance my project description now, even we are after the contest deadline ?

    Hi shipmen,

    Thanks for your question. I think you may be referring to your portfolio software submissions (http://challengepost.com/users/shipmen). These software entries may be edited after the submission period is over. However they are not the submission versions that will be used for judging.

    When the submission period ended at 5pm EDT on July 17th, a snapshot was taken of your submission and your portfolio submission was created. The snapshot version will be used for judging (along with your app that has passed certification in Samsung Apps).

    Wow, thanks for answering this. I was not aware of this snapshots mechanism here. Very nice idea. Is it possible also at this page to see how the snapshot look like ?

    Hi shipmen,

    Once the submission gallery is opened the snapshot submissions will be visible to the public. Until that time, you should be able to view your submission (but not edit it) using the link in your submission confirmation email from ChallengePost.
