Heart rate monitor

We have made an app for Samsung Gear App Challenge and it uses heart rate monitor, but in release notes you wrote that MotionType “HRM” and “SLEEP_MONITOR” are removed from the Motion API, so what should we do now?

    Hi Cerbedron,

    I've spoken with the sponsor and it seems that the Tizen SDK for Wearable version you have used for the app development is beta1 which was released in March. The latest Tizen SDK for Wearable is beta2 released in April, and the functions you used were removed for this version.

    Unfortunately, apps that have been developed with beta1 version(w/ HRM function) can not pass the Samsung GALAXY Apps certification process in the current state.

    None of the beta 2 samples are working properly event if you directly uploaded into Remote Test Lab. To resolve this I downgraded to beta 1 API. kindly share some working samples using beta 2 API. Please talk to sponsor and get sample, This will enable us to resubmit the app before the certification deadline,

    Serena, The app works perfectly fine with Gear 2 device in remote test lab which are based on Tizen . You can download the apk and upload into Remote Test Lab. I guess we need to wait and see if the app passes certification or not.

    Sarena, My first Android hybrid app is approved and ready for sale in Samsung store with latest binaries and works fine in remote lap devices with gear. Only thing left is I need to enhance the features now.
