Update issue

Hello,

There was a small little problem that I was hoping to get some answers on.
So I have already submitted a build for the Gear App contest.
The app is already in the store and is available for download.

The small problem is that I have just uploaded an update for the app and i don't think it will be approved by the 17th which is the deadline.
What would be the best thing to do at this point?
Just cancel update approval? or leave it as is?
As stated earlier, the app is already in the store and is available for download.
