I'm italian: big disappointment

I just have to write that i am very disappointed; i had a good idea, was trying to develop it when i've read that, due to my country law problems, i cannot enter the challenge because i am italian.
It's a real sin.
Greetings :-(

    Hi cdiscla,

I'm sorry that you're not eligible to compete in the Samsung Gear App Challenge. We wish we did not have to exclude countries from global competitions. However, it is legally complicated to run prize-based competitions in some countries due to their local contest regulations. By no means is this a statement as to whether international developers are valued or not. They are! It’s just a matter of complying with US and local laws.

Please note that, per the official rules (below), the submitter (whether an individual, team, or organization) must own the rights to their submitted entry.

Per the official rules: “As the sole and exclusive owner of the entries, Participants shall warrant that they will not infringe any rights of the third party including portrait rights, moral rights, design rights, patent rights, utility model rights, copyrights, program copyrights and trade secrets.”

    All the best,
