Loading ziped apk at a submission

I've create release apk-file of my integrated application, send it to samsung apps and my app have apeared at the store. Now I'm trying to add a submission to the challenge. And I asked to upload ziped application file.
But this apk-file can be directly installed to the device and paired gear 2 only in one case: there is certificate xml file on the gear 2, pushed prevously. Another way - is to instal it from Gear Manager application on my host device.
So the question is: does the judges know this? Because if they try to install the apk-file to the device (not from the samsung apps store) - gear widget will not installed automaticly, there will be an instalation error.
Thanks!

    Hi alexflom,

Thanks for your question. To best ensure that your installation file and host-side app are accessible for testing and judging, please include any needed installation instructions in the "Testing Instructions" field on your submission form.

    Thanks very much!

Can you please tell me, how do judges will test our apps? Do they install the app from Mobile Device -> Gear Manager -> Samsung Apps ? Or by directly apk file installation?
Because the second way needs a private developer certificate on the Gear, in other way gear widget is not installing on gear.

    Hi alexflom,

Thank you for your question! Per the rules you must provide "an uploaded zipped file containing an installation file for the Host-side Application." If you feel that there is a better way for the judges to access your host-side app, please provide instructions for that access in the "Testing Instructions" field on your submission form.

Please note that, per the rules, "Judges are not required to test the Application and may choose to judge based solely on the text description, images and video provided in the Entry."

    Thanks and good luck!

    Hi alexflom,

To provide a bit more context, the apps will be installed through Samsung Apps. Thus, there should not be a problem as long as the apps are available on Samsung Apps.

    Thank you!
