    Hi faisalkhalid690,

Thanks for your question. If you are entering an integrated application, you must upload your APK file to your Challenge submission here: http://gearapp.challengepost.com/submissions/new

It's likely that the Sellers Account registration is asking for your Gear app file specifically.

    Best,

Thanks. Currently I am not in my country for 2 months so which mobile number should I provide on submission form?

    Hi faisalkhalid690,

    1) Please submit your challenge entry after you've submitted to Samsung Apps and obtained your Samsung seller ID and Content ID.

    2) Please put your legal country of residence where you pay taxes.

    Thanks!

    Hi Serena,

I've been having a real issue with this too. Trying to submit an integrated app. It got rejected because it was a wgt file, and now I can't even submit one. The APK file throws this error:

App ID (Package Name) is not valid. App ID of registered binaries must be the same.

I submitted the APK to the contest site, but this is for the actual store submission in the sellers account. It doesn't make sense that it wouldn't be the APK, because that is the file that needs to be used when a user actually downloads. Why would you submit just the wgt for an integrated app, and not the rest of the app? Either way, it doesn't let you do that anymore anyway.

I sent an email to support 5 days ago and have yet to hear back from them. I have the app registered before the due date, but because it got rejected, due to this file issue, I don't even know if I still qualify for the contest. This whole thing has been very frustrating!

    Hi Appervasive,

I'm sorry you're having trouble. If you haven't already, I'd recommend taking a look at this article about adding an Integrated or Linked Gear 2 App to the Samsung GALAXY Apps Seller Office: http://gearapp.challengepost.com/details/hostapp

If that does not help, I'm afraid you'll need to wait to hear from Samsung as they will be best able help you.

    Good luck!

    Hi Serena,

That is in there, in the Android manifest file. Still getting the error though. A different error than that one though, it says:

App ID (Package Name) is not valid. App ID of registered binaries must be the same.

What App ID is it talking about, what are the registered binaries that it is referring to where it needs to be the same?

There is the binary for the Tizen app, the wgt file, and then the Android file is the apk file. Is there somewhere in both those files where there needs to be an App ID listed consistently across the two? How would you do that?

There is no where in the Tizen app that the Android App ID is mentioned. (it is something like com.example.appname). Should that be mentioned somewhere in the Tizen app?

There is no where in the Android app that the Tizen ID is mentioned either. The tizen id (in config.xml) is:

    tizen:application id="#########.appname" package="##########" required_version="2.2" (with the ID listed instead of the ########)

Should that be listed somewhere in the Android app?

I also tried changing the id of the tizen app to the same as the app id of the Android app, with no luck.

Going back to your original post though, that is wrong, correct? You DO need to submit the APK to the seller account, correct?

    Hi Appervasive,

Yes, for any Linked or Integrated apps the APK file must be included. I'm very sorry, but these questions - since they have to do with the Samsung Seller Office - are best directed towards Samsung.

Sorry I can't be of more help!
    Serena
