Gear 2 <> Gear 2 connection possible

I didn't find any definitive information on this topic in the Samsung forums, so I am goind ahead and ask here:

Is it possible to create a local network/mesh using multiple Gear devices? Can on Gear device send data directly to another one without using the host Android device?

I think a local mash of Android host devices could be done, which then notify the Gears but I was looking for a more standalone experience.

    Thanks for your question and your interest in the Samsung Gear App Challenge. We've checked with the Gear development team and we've been told that Gear to Gear data sharing is not possible without a host Android device.
